Per­son­al Pro­file

I am a skilled do­cent (se­nior lec­tu­rer) and prin­ci­pal re­search sci­en­tist who cur­rent­ly works at the Fac­ul­ty of Elec­tri­cal En­gi­neer­ing and In­for­ma­tion Tech­no­logy of the Rhei­ni­sch-West­fäli­sche Tech­ni­sche Hoch­schu­le (RWTH) in Aa­chen, Ger­many. I also reg­u­lar­ly give lec­tures at the Tech­ni­cal Uni­ver­si­ty of Mu­nich (TUM). Be­cause of my ed­u­ca­tion­al and pro­fes­sion­al ca­reers I am very well trained in solv­ing both the­o­ret­i­cal and prac­ti­cal prob­lems. I am high­ly spe­cial­ized in Ap­plied Math­e­mat­ics, Com­mu­ni­ca­tions En­gi­neer­ing, and In­for­ma­tion Pro­cess­ing. My sci­en­tif­ic re­search has gained a great deal of recog­ni­tions in re­cent years and has won sev­er­al awards. In ad­di­tion, I have many years of ex­pe­ri­ence in ac­qui­si­tion of third-par­ty funds and pro­cess­ing of pro­jects, as well as, a broad in­ter­con­nec­tion with both in­dus­tri­al part­ners and aca­demics. More­over, I have a long­time lead­er­ship ex­pe­ri­ence in both sci­en­tif­ic re­search and prod­uct de­vel­op­ment. My cur­rent re­search in­ter­ests are:

BMBF pro­ject on High­est Ef­fi­cien­cy Mo­bile Com­mu­ni­ca­tion Trans­mis­sion and Al­lo­ca­tion Process­es (HyEff) with­in the fund­ing ini­tia­tive Uni­ver­sal Use of Com­mu­ni­ca­tion Net­works for Fu­ture Mo­bile Com­mu­ni­ca­tion Gen­er­a­tions (HyperNet); [4], [5].

2004 – 2010:
